DSAW has developed a special use grant option – The Hospital Meal Assistance Program. DSAW now offers meal voucher assistance to families that have a child with Down syndrome who are experiencing an extended hospital stay. DSAW is currently only able to offer this program for hospital visits occurring at Childrens Hospital of WI. If your loved one with Down syndrome is going to be in the hospital overnight or longer, we want to help! There are no income guidelines and no application. Just contact DSAW, (414) 327-3729 or info@dsaw.org and put "Hospital Meal Assistance" in the memo line to receive $24 worth of Childrens Hospital of WI "2, 4, 6, Ate!" meal tickets. A maximum of $24 in meal tickets will be issued per request AND a maximum of five requests awarded per family annually.
