About DSAW

The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (DSAW) is an organization created for individuals and families affected by Down syndrome to offer assistance, create awareness and gain acceptance of Down syndrome throughout our communities.

Throughout the state of Wisconsin, DSAW consists of more than 1500 members. DSAW's main office is located in St. Francis, a southeastern suburb of Milwaukee county. DSAW also has several regional chapters throughout the state which are organized and run by parent volunteers - DSAW Chippewa Valley Connection, DSAW Fox Cities and DSAW Green Bay Connection. DSAW continues to offer a lending library for its members, also.

Daily responsibilities are handled by Executive Director, Ron Malloy, Program Director, Angie Mayer Fech and Office Manager, Carrie Timmermon. Ron has a 19 year old daughter with Down syndrome and Angie has a 12 year old son with Down syndrome.

Currently, we have six members on the Board of Directors including one self advocate, as well as, thirty eight statewide Advisory Board members. We're always looking for feedback and different ways to help, so be sure to contact us with your suggestions!
