Monthly Events

Monthly Music Therapy Group: Held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5:45pm-6:30pm at Life in Harmony Music Therapy, 860 N Mill St., Suite #2, West Salem, WI. Children ages Birth to 6 years along with their parents and siblings gather for a group music time and socialization afterwards.

"Roadmap with Ron"sessions: Families are able to schedule a two-hour meeting with DSAW Executive Director, Ron Malloy, to get direct support on complex challenges requiring a customized solution or to receive assistance achieving a goal. Roadmap sessions are typically scheduled the 1st Tuesday of each month at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm. Contact Ron Malloy directly to schedule your session: or 414-327-3729. Nationally recognized “Learn to Ride a Bike” Camp for people ages 8 – adult

Registration opens soon! Cost of the camp is $250. Financial assistance may be available through DSAW-COTH-GLA or possibly through your county Human Services Agency. Each rider will have a 75 minute session with a 2:1 ration of volunteers to riders. Please review the criteria below to see if your family member qualifies to attend this year's bike riding camp. Rider must meet all of the following criteria:

  • MInimum of 8 years old (no maximum age)
  • Have a disability
  • Able to walk without assistive device
  • Willing and able to wear a properly fitting helmet
  • Able to sidestep to both sides
  • Minimum inseam of 20"
  • Maximum of 220 lb
  • Able to attend camp for all 5 days
  • Furnish own bicycle by day 4 of camp
