DSAW Event Volunteers (Fill out the form below to let us know your interest!)
We are accepting volunteers for our 3rd Annual Kenosha, Racine & Walworth Down Syndrome Awareness Walk. We need help with set-up, registration, running games, crafts and other stations, food service, clean-up, and more. We are also looking for individuals to serve on our event planning committee. Please email Abbey if interested in any of these opportunities.
DSAW Program Volunteers (Fill out the form below to let us know your interest!)
We are looking for individuals who can run or assist in running a DSAW program once or twice a month. Most of these programs will take place at DSAW-Lakeside (Marian Center for Nonprofits: St. Francis, WI), but if you have an idea for a program in your local chapter, please let us know!
We are especially looking for:
Special Education Teachers
Young adults without disabilities for our inclusive programming
Even if you do not have a special skill or talent, we would still love your help to organize, promote, and run our new programs.
Office Volunteers (Fill out the form below to let us know your interest!)
We are looking for a team of dedicated individuals who can commit to regular volunteering (at least twice a month) in the DSAW Office (Marian Center for Nonprofits, St. Francis WI). We need help organizing our files (both hard-copy and digital), getting our new marketing materials ready for use, sending mail, answering phones, and more.
We are looking for a dedicated individuals / team of individuals who can help us with the many aspects of volunteer coordination, such as recruitment, on-boarding, training, organization, and more.
