They will lead a friendly training that will help you better understand the IEP process and how to support your child’s education journey. \nTopics we will cover include: \nWhat is an IEP?\nHow to help your child’s team get to know your child.\nHow to be prepared for an IEP meeting including a pre and post checklist.\nWhat can be included in an IEP – what you can ask for and who to ask.\nWhether you’re new to special education or want to feel more confident in working with your child’s school\, this session will give you helpful tools to strengthen skills and make sure your child gets the support they deserve. \n\n\n\nAfter you register and before the meeting date\, you will be sent a link to click on when the group starts.
