DESCRIPTION:Join us for this one-of-a-kind program where each day is packed with fun and hands-on learning! Our weekly themes bring excitement\, variety\, and opportunities to develop essential life skills while making new friends. Eligible participants will be able to stay with the group (with or without 1:1 assistance). There are 3 sessions throughout the summer for ages 8-17. Attend one\, two\, or all three between June 15-August 27 (Mondays-Thursdays) from 9am-3pm\, at DSAW-SC Sun Prairie Center. This program is open to individuals with any intellectual or developmental disability. \nSessions:Session 1 is from June 15 – July 2\, Session 2 is July 6-30\, and Session 3 is from August 3-27. Join DSAW–SC for a series of 6 FREE American Sign Language classes held on Thursdays from 1:30–3:00 PM at the Rotary Gardens in Janesville. Whether you’re brand new or looking to build your skills\, this is a welcoming space to learn together. Stacey S will guide participants through everyday ASL to support real-life communication. Each session is designed to be engaging and interactive—featuring repetition\, music\, and hands-on activities (plus time to explore the gardens!). \nA caregiver should remain on site during the program. You can pick and choose which dates to sign up based on your schedule.
