This event brings you a special caregiver workshop designed for those who give so much of themselves daily. \nThe workshop will feature guest speaker Amanda Griffith-Atkins\, author of How to Handle More Than You Can Handle: Caring for Yourself While Raising a Disabled Child. Amanda is known for her real\, honest\, and encouraging approach to caregiving and navigating life when it feels like too much. She runs a therapy practice in Chicago serving families with disabilities. As the mother of a child with a disability\, she has firsthand understanding of caregiving realities. \nThis event is designed for parents and caregivers of children/adults with disabilities\, but is open to everyone. \nPlease register by May 9th.
