Safe & Sound: A DSAW-SC + Safe Kids Safety Day

As part of the Pillars of Success program, we’re partnering with the UW Safe Kids Coalition to host an interactive Safety Day on Sunday, May 3, from 1:00–4:00 PM at the Fitchburg Fire Station. Families can rotate at their own pace through hands-on safety stations led by community partners, covering topics such as fire safety, water safety, bike and pedestrian safety, internet safety, child passenger safety, CPR, and more. Highlights include exploring a fire truck (sirens off), meeting therapy dogs, learning what to say when calling 911, and building a disaster preparedness kit. Each station will provide helpful take-home resources, and light snacks will be served. Join us for this fun and meaningful afternoon focused on keeping our families and community safe!
