June was an exciting month across DSAW, bringing families together through unforgettable experiences, meaningful connections, and plenty of summer fun. Chapters across the state hosted everything from baseball games, dance parties, bowling, park play dates, nature hikes, creative workshops, and community outreach events to parent and sibling gatherings, educational experiences, and inclusive recreation. One of the month’s highlights was our Statewide Brewers Game, where more than 250 families, staff, and volunteers from every region came together to celebrate community and cheer on the Brew Crew. Whether exploring the outdoors, advocating in our communities, learning new skills, or simply enjoying time with friends, June was filled with moments that strengthened connections and reminded us of the incredible power of belonging. Thank you to our families, volunteers, community partners, and supporters for making it all possibleโwe can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!
Fox Cities
DSAW Fox Cities โ June Recap
June was full of summer fun, community, and time spent making memories together!
We started the month at Dance for Disability at Bay Beach, and we were so excited to partner with DSAW Green Bay for such a fun evening! Families enjoyed dancing, music, and celebrating together. We also had a blast at Badger Sports Park, spending the evening playing games and making great memories.
Later in the month, many of our families came together for the Statewide Brewers Game, making it a fun day cheering on the home team. We also appreciate everyone who supported DSAW during our Chick-fil-A Fundraiser. Every meal purchased helped support our mission and programs.
We wrapped up June with a relaxing Park Play Date at Memorial Park, where families enjoyed the beautiful weather, connected with one another, and let the kids play.
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the month. We hope you’re having an amazing summer, and we can’t wait for more fun together! ๐

DSAW – SEWI/KRW – Looking Back on June 2026
June 2026 events truly knocked it out of the park.
250 families, staff, and volunteers representing every region of the state came together on June 14 for a spectacular tailgate party and Brewers game. What an inspiration to see so many DSAW families standing together and cheering on the Brew Crew! Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event such a hit.
June 18 offered two amazing family outings: an informative and breathtaking birding hike around Wehr Nature Center within Whitnall Park in Franklin, and an informative and exhilarating self-guided tour of ENORMOUS tractors at the Case IH Experience Center in Racine.
Back-to-back events on the last weekend of June kept the ball rolling for families across the region, starting first with Family Bowling at The Lanes in Racine on June 27. An Ice Cream Social and Game Day topped off that Sunday with a cherry.
