For Children
Every child deserves the chance to thrive
Learning new skills and knowledge throughout their lifespan, every child with Down syndrome is affected differently by it. We’re here to support children with Down syndrome no matter the path they’re on, helping them reach milestones in a way that makes sense for their particular circumstances. That’s why we provide one-on-one services, programs, and classes for children (ages 0-17) with Down syndrome and other related disabilities—helping them navigate daily tasks, discover opportunities in school, and build skills to pursue whatever their heart desires.

From music therapy to Tiny Tots and Stream Team, we offer a large selection of free programs for children with disabilities.

DSAW Connects
For children ages 10 and over and are able to use Zoom technology independently, we invite you to participate in our DSAW Connects classes. These virtual classes are focused on topics ranging from social skills and cooking to sports and athletics.
Contact your DSAW Specialist to register for any DSAW Connects classes. If you don’t yet have a DSAW Specialist, click here to get started. If you have any questions, please contact info@dsaw.org.

Daily living skills and one-on-one services
Our staff provides one-on-one daily living skills training at home or in a community location. We work with your family (or team) to accomplish a child’s goals and help them achieve their dreams. Here’s a few examples of our one-on-one services: self care, money skills, easy meal prep, safety at home and in the community, and social skills.
Top resources for children
I am quite excited about all they are doing, and truly see them as a model for other local Down syndrome groups around the country.
