Chippewa Valley

Chippewa Valley had a GREAT turnout with almost 100 people at their annual Holiday Party! Through the generous donations earned at our annual Awareness Walk, DSAW was able to supply gifts for 50 children! We also had holiday arts and crafts projects to work on and a wonderfully delicious food buffet was enjoyed by all! It was SO COOL to see Santa and Mrs Clause (and their elf!), but the best part might have been seeing everyone enjoy the Holidays together!

Fox Cities

November was filled with connection, movement, and gratitude for our DSAW Fox Cities families.

We kicked off the month with a high-energy outing at Xtreme Air, where participants had the chance to jump, play, and burn off some energy in a fun and inclusive environment. It was wonderful to see friendships forming, lots of laughter, and families enjoying time together outside of their daily routines.

Later in the month, we gathered for our annual Friendsgiving Celebration, held at the Building for Kids Children’s Museum. Families shared a meal, meaningful conversation, and plenty of laughs before spending time exploring the museum together. From hands-on exhibits to imaginative play, everyone had a great time discovering all the Building for Kids has to offer. Friendsgiving continues to be a special opportunity for families to connect, celebrate the season of thankfulness, and enjoy the strength of our DSAW community.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make these events so memorable. We look forward to closing out the year with more opportunities to gather, celebrate, and support one another.

Green Bay

DSAW-GB Holiday party took place on December 13. Families enjoyed a delicious lunch, festive cookie decorating, fun crafts, and a special visit from Santa. It was a wonderful morning filled with festive fun, laughter, and holiday cheer.

Sheboygan and Surrounding Counties

The Sheboygan Area chapter had its Holiday Party on December 13th at our building in Glenbeulah. Families enjoyed cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar,  holiday crafts, and meaningful connection time. It was so fun and busy that we didn’t manage to get a single picture!

Southeastern Region

December brought very cold weather to our SE-WI/KRW events, but that didn’t stop families from coming together to enjoy the holiday lights, festivities, and—most importantly—each other! We kicked off the month with a ride on the giant sleigh through the Carnival of Lights at Jellystone Campground in Caledonia. Bundled up and ready for adventure, families shared smiles as they traveled through thousands of twinkling lights.

More than 150 people joined us for our Holiday Party at the Milwaukee County Zoo for a Wild Lights adventure! Despite another chilly evening, families arrived bundled and excited. We enjoyed time together indoors with snacks, crafts, and gifts, and many braved the cold to explore the beautiful lights throughout the zoo.

December wrapped up with a cozy day at the theater, where families gathered for a private showing of Elf on the big screen—an extra-special treat just for our DSAW friends.

It was a wonderful month full of connection, laughter, and holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store!
