Spend the morning fishing with officers from the McFarland and Monona Police Departments on Monday, September 7, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Babcock County Park Shelter in McFarland. This free, family-friendly event is open to individuals of all ages with Down syndrome or related disabilities and their families, with fishing equipment and lunch provided; participants with disabilities will also receive a free T-shirt if registered by August 24. Parents/caregivers must stay with participants, and anyone age 16 or older who plans to fish must have a valid Wisconsin fishing license.
Entrance is off of HWY 51 between the campground and boat launch.
Please register by Monday, August 24th.
Participants ages 16+ are required to have a state fishing license. Note: Parents and guardians who want to fish alongside their child must have a valid State of Wisconsin fishing license (required for ages 16+). https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/permits
