DSAW hosts a monthly support group for those who are caring for aging loved ones with Down syndrome. Each month we meet to share in conversation and support with other parents, siblings, and caregivers.
Thanks to a grant from the Eau Claire Community Foundation, we’re excited to introduce music therapy to our DSAW community! Join other DSAW caregivers once a month for a book club! We choose a different book each month and get together to discuss. We read a variety of genres (both fiction and nonfiction), and books do not focus specifically on caregiving or parenting.
Join us in making Celebrate DePere a fantastic event for the community! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help manage the admission gate during the festivities. Join Think Ability Wisconsin and DSAW for a Lunch and Learn Series about postsecondary education programs for individuals with disabilities. Today's Lunch and Learn will showcase Shepherds College in Union Grove, WI.
DSAW Sign-N-Play playgroup offers children ages 1 to 5 year-olds with Down syndrome, their parents, and caregivers the opportunity to have fun and learn in a friendly environment that promotes spoken and sign language, early literacy, and social & emotional development.
