WHO WE ARE
The Down Syndrome Association of WI – Children of the Heart – Greater La Crosse Area is a chapter of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin. We serve families in La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon, Juneau, and Adams Counties in Wisconsin. Due to our close proximity to our neighboring states, we also provide resources to families in Southeast Minnesota and Northeast Iowa.
Our goal is to support individuals with Down syndrome or related disabilities and their families in our community. We do this by connecting families with local resources (and each other), bringing educational speakers to our area, and by hosting family events, including an annual Down Syndrome Awareness Walk! DSAW-La Crosse is a non-profit 501(c)3 organized through the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin. All donations are tax-deductable and will be used in the greater La Crosse area. Click here to make a donation.
