Job Development and Support Services
DSAW will work with you on your path to employment. Our goal is to prepare you for a job, help you find a job you love, and support you at your job. We are a service provider with the Wisconsin Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. We offer the following services:
- Skills to Pay the Bills
- Explore Work
- Job Shadows
- Job Preparation- resume building, interview practice
- Internship/Temporary Work Experience
- Job Development and Retention
- Job Coaching
- Supported Employment
DSAW also works with long-term support providers such as IRIS and Family Care to continue providing job coaching for Supported Employment consumers.

Transition Services
Our trained staff work with area schools to enhance their transition programs, provide group and individual instruction, and facilitate work readiness by teaching pre-vocational skills and providing industry tours. We also offer consulting services to area teachers and administrators.

Through personalized coaching, workplace readiness training, and employer partnerships across Wisconsin, DSAW helps individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities find jobs that match their talents and goals. Our focus is on building inclusive work environments where each person is valued and supported to thrive.
