Part of our mission is to provide continuous education to physicians and other healthcare professionals on how to deliver a balanced, unbiased, accurate, up-to-date, and compassionate diagnosis of Down syndrome to new and expectant parents.    Click the button below to submit your information as a health care professional, and we will send a medical outreach packet. Delivering a Down syndrome diagnosis

We believe it’s necessary to openly discuss Down syndrome in a way that is both supportive and educational. And this begins with how the initial communication of a Down syndrome diagnosis to expectant and new parents. If you’re looking to better inform how you deliver this diagnosis, visit the Congratulations Project (receive a congratulatory letter from members of Camp PALS in Chicago), Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (connecting and supporting new/expectant parents), and Down Syndrome Test (for information about prenatal testing).

It’s important for you to hear patient and family perspectives about their experiences within the healthcare system.
