SEWI: Family Outing to The Racine Zoo
August 29: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come join DSAW as we explore the Racine Zoo. Our visit will begin with an animal encounter, as we learn about Animals from Around the World. The program will take about an hour, and then families will be able to explore the zoo at their own pace. You’ll be able to check out African Lions, the Masai Giraffe, the Andean Bear and African Penguins. And don’t forgot about the Reptile House! Your pass for the day will be good until the Zoo closes at 5 pm. You are welcome to bring in a picnic lunch, or grab a snack at Max & Jenny’s Jungle Grill. This visit to the Racine Zoo is free for those with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities and their immediate families.
