Green Bay Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders class is a unique curriculum that introduces students to building work, leadership, and wellness skills. Each class includes prepared instructional materials and a recreational activity. Our goal is to develop advocacy, leadership, and public speaking skills.

WHO: Transition-aged students with any developmental disability that want to work in a community-based setting
This class is recommended for ages 16+. If you think your child under 16 would benefit, please contact DSAW at info@dsaw.org!

WHEN: First and second Tuesdays of the month from 6pm - 8pm
Attendance at every session is not required! Feel free to come when you’re able. We welcome self-advocates to join our class at any time.

COST: We are offering this class FREE for all participants thanks to the generosity of the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

DSAW charges fees for some recurring programming because of the cost of curriculum, staffing, occupancy, etc. However, participant’s ability to pay should not prohibit attendance! Please contact DSAW if you need financial assistance.
