Virtual: Prenatal Diagnosis Support Group

DSAW-Southeastern has a new support group for women who have received a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis, and due to the current “Safer at Home” order, this group will be held virtually using Zoom technology! The group is for women in various stages of their pregnancy and decision-making journey. We welcome everyone, regardless of any decisions made, to attend our judgment-free group.  Join us as we gather to provide support and share our experiences.

Gretchen Dodgion is the Prenatal Diagnosis Support Group Coordinator. She is a nurse practitioner and a new mom to a young child with Down Syndrome.

WHAT: A completely non-judgmental support group for women who have recently received a prenatal Down Syndrome diagnosis and wish to seek personal support.

WHEN: Second and Fourth Wednesday of the month from 8pm-9pm

WHO: We welcome women who have recently received a prenatal DS diagnosis

LOGISTICS: Filling out the form below is the first step to registering. After you register, you will be sent a link to click on when the group starts. Webcams are not required to join, but they do make it more fun! Zoom will work on computers, tablets, and phones. Most participants will be from Southeastern Wisconsin, but for the duration of our virtual series, women around the state are invited to join!
