Looking Back on August 2025

DSAW-Chippewa Valley

DSAW-Chippewa Valley celebrated summer with a picnic at the newly renovated Phelan Park!  With a stunning setting, activities for every age, and plenty of delicious food, it was the perfect day to connect, laugh, and make new friends. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate summer together!

DSAW-Fox Cities

We finally got to enjoy our rescheduled pool party and it was worth the wait! Families splashed, swam, and soaked up a beautiful summer evening together. The very next day, we cheered on the Timber Rattlers with a big DSAW crew in the stands, making memories both on and off the field.

Mid-month, our community came together again for a sweet evening at our Back to School Ice Cream Social at Town Center Park, nothing says summer like ice cream and friends! We wrapped up August with a day at Evergreen Campgrounds with families coming from all over the state. Participants enjoyed the outdoors, tried new activities, and made lasting connections.
From start to finish, August was full of laughter, smiles, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who joined us, you make these moments so special!

DSAW-Green Bay

August was filled with fun, friendships, and new adventures at DSAW! 💙
Families took on new heights at Odyssey Climbing +Fitness during our Adaptive Rock Wall Climbing event. Participants built confidence and strength and had an amazing time cheering each other on.

We also enjoyed a wonderful evening of community at our Inclusive Golf Experience, made possible by the support of Patriot Golf Course. It was a night of learning, laughter, and connection on the greens.
Our Summer Sparks Connection Program wrapped up the season with exciting activities, giving participants a chance to explore, socialize, and shine all summer long.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made these moments so special!

DSAW-Southeastern Region

Our Southeastern Region had a great August! We had our Annual Golf Outing at the Club at Lac La Belle on August 13th! Even though the course was a little wet, we still had a great turnout! Having Charlie Berens as our MC was the hit of the night!

We also had an amazing time celebrating summer at Cool Waters for our SEWI Family Pool Party and Picnic! From soaking up the sun to sliding into fun, it was the perfect way to beat the heat and make some unforgettable memories.

DSAW-Sheboygan and Surrounding Counties

In August, the Sheboygan and Surrounding Counties chapter welcomed the community into our NEW CLUBHOUSE! We had a great turnout from DSAW participants and community members. It was a beautiful night, and we are so excited to be in our own building!
